Remembered Textures

In 2023 my work was selected for the juried exhibition Looking After: Photography as an Act of Care, hosted by Capture Photo Festival in Vancouver. I presented _Remembered Textures_, a photo triptych created during my time studying at Emily Carr University of Art and Design. This work is a reflection of my struggle to find connection with a lndscape I was dislocated from and which held strong memories for First Nations peoples, specifically the Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish Nations.
